AMQSCLM - Commercial Version?

MQSeries Listers,

Is there a commercial product equivalent (with maintenance and technical
support) that embodies the functionality of the AMQSCLM sample program
(Cluster Queue Monitor) provided with WMQ 7.0.1 and later? If there is a
commercial product that incorporates the capabilities of this very useful
program I'm interested in following up on viable leads. Thanks!

Hi Tom,

I'm not aware of alternative products, but regarding the level of support
for this sample, any defects while using the unmodified shipped binary
will be supported by MQ to the same level as any other shipped MQ binary.
If the sample code is modified MQ will support any issues with the
underlying MQ functionality as per normal support, however diagnosis and
fixing of the modified sample becomes the customer's responsibility.

It's also worth pointing out that the documentation for the sample
describes a number of scaling limitations of the sample, and any user must
ensure that their use is unaffected by these limitations.

Dave,

Thanks for your quick response to my question regarding support for
AMQSCLM. It's been remarkably effective for dynamically adjusting the
CLWLPRTY attribute in our MQ cluster. I think other customers have had
similar observations from what I've read in past listserver posts. Thanks
again.
