Morag took the time to blog about all the RFEs that were delivered in the MQ 8 release.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for pointing that out, and I also appreciate Morag taking the time to document this, as well. This information was helpful, and there are several RFEs that were addressed that would definitely encourage us to upgrade to v8 when it becomes available.

I did have one question though for RFE 39555 "Externalize mq.ini overrides (non-default values) or values not honored during execution (such as TCP Buffer settings)". The main thrust of this RFE was to externalize the qm.ini attributes (i.e. give the administrator the ability to query or view the qm.ini attributes that were tailored). However, the IBM Developer comment in this RFE just talks about documentation being enhanced for qm.ini attributes. Does anyone know if the qm.ini externalization piece of the RFE was also completed in v8?

Thanks,
Tim
